This painting is based on a dream which the Lord has spoken to me clearly that His presence is my great reward. I was drawn specifically to Psalm 91 and it has become my constant prayer and desire to be near Him.
He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4
There is no better place than to be in the Secret place of the Most High God. It is a place of intimacy, a place of revelation, a place of freedom and joy, peace and refreshing and a place of strength and power. God desires our friendship more than our works and achievements. Like Moses and Joshua, David and Enoch who were some exemplified lovers of God's presence, we have to learn to tarry in His presence and enjoy His friendship.
You can be as close to God as you choose to be. Will you make a decision today, to be as close as you can be to Him? “Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere” (Psalm 84:10). Let it be our burning desire to dwell daily under God’s wings and stay close to His presence.
